First Quarter
Opening 08 January - All teachers to report for duty. 10 January all learners report for schooling to begin. School closes 23 March for the end of the first quarter.
Second Quarter
Opening 11 April - all teachers and learners report for the beginning of the second quarter. 22 June, school closes for the end of the second quarter.
Third Quarter
Opening 16 July - teachers and learners to report for the commencement of the third quarter. 21 September - school closes for end of the quarter.
Fourth Quarter
01 October - learners and teachers report for the start of the last quarter. 01 December - learners get their end of year reports and school closes for them. 04 December - school officially closes for the end of year for teachers.
I am presently teaching in Sekete IV High School. Born about 55 years ago, I have grown and seen quite a lot of things in life. I am just an ordianry human like any one, with my strenghts and my weaknesses. I dislike dishonesty, lies and abuse. I also hate disrespect, especially frow the youth towards the elderly. I don't care what goverments or individuals might say about rights and democracy, I believe these are useless without respect for the people who are our older brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, uncles and aunts. So help me O, God!
